This group to start with was a merge of 3 yahoo clubs. They were
called clubs before groups and looked different. You couldn't do as
much in them either. The group I had back then was called Chatters on
Fire for Jesus. The three founders from those groups prayer together
and talked together about what God had in mind for this new group. We
came up with a SAFE Christian site that welcomes Christians of all
ages and backgrounds. A place where we learn from each other and
encourage each other freely. Only the truly keen members from each
group came to join electric life. They soon discovered the basics of
what we were about back then. That is still the same today. When they
joined and You join your told or can see some of our values straight
away. Since then to get away from all the sex websites that were being posted and sent to our members by people joining the group just for this purpose we decided to move to a secure network which is Ning.

Anyone who visits this site can get an idea of what we are about and
what they might expect to find here straight away. Where? In the
description of the group.

A site for having fun, meeting new friends, advice chatting, action,
learning, and getting in touch with God.

That is a lot of stuff you can find in one place. It also suggests a
fun, caring place where the people love their God and seek to support
each other and learn together. What it doesn’t say that? Well maybe
not exactly but when I describe our group to people I talk about
those things. Why? Because that is THE Vision God gave us. The things
that make this site unique.
