If your a cook you know you have tools you use for cooking,
does it really matter if you have the right tools? My thoughts are thinking as follows:what tools do you use?why do you cook? what foods do you eat?why is dieting good? what changes have you made for your goals in life? If your tools are here for our useing then why are we not useing them? If we are the richest country on this side of the world,(usa)why are we not giving our time and effort into makeing food healthy and not instant stuff? why do i not like instant, it is processed and has the vitamins taken out of food.
If you have any more ?'s be free to ask me, i'm taking a nutrition program and it is making me a healthy eater. Don't you think it is time to eat right and give the tools a work out?
Never get between a chef and their knives! A good chef knows the value of good tools; particularly their knives. A chef will pay hundreds of dollars to buy the right knife for the job and if they have a couple of jobs that need doing they will buy a couple of good knives.
My mate just bought a new set of spanners! Again all good tools; he is a mechanic and needs to have good tools.
We, as followers of Jesus also need to make sure we have good tools. A clear mind, a pure heart and a fit body would be a good start. We need to know how to approach the scriptures and how to read them. We need to submit ourselves to discipleship, seek out a nurturing environment and sustain our selves with some accountability.
Our tools include the experiences of our lives, our understanding of who God is and what he calls us to and the relationships we have that allow us to function healthily and wholly as followers of Jesus. There are some of us who blunder through our Christian lives being nothing but blunt and dull; almost useless tools in the hands of the Master. Get sharp. Get bright. Get on the job.
Test yourselves and find out if you really are true to your faith. If you pass the test, you will discover that Christ is living in you. But if Christ isn't living in you, you have failed. 2Corinthians 13:5
